General Idea

This is the place to talk about the idea in general. I know, there are so many other organisations around. Why should it make sense, to establish another one?
The main reason why I came up with this idea was Opexa's trouble to finance their phase 3 clinical trial. To me, the result of the phase 2b trial für Tovaxin/Tcelna definitely looked good. But I'm not an expert, so there could be a good reason, why they head such problems to get the money to finance a phase 3 trial.

Other Ideas

Let's assume, we would be able to create a community with more than 1 million members. Let's further assume, that they would be willing to donate from time to time. Let's assume we have an organisation, that can invest money and makes profit.
What else could be done with money in order to accelerate the speed of development of new therapies?
